- Yes, much cheaper just to open the case up and *look* at it. To do this,
- simply remove the two rubber "feet" on the rear bottom of the modem.
- Underneath each of these is a hole with a Phillips-head screw at the
- bottom. Unscrew these then gently lift the bottom cover off the modem.

- Reverse the process to put it back together again...

- Now, whether you have a single board or mother/daughterboard unit won't
- mean anything unless you are using a US/Canada unit and it conforms to
- Hong Kong standards since USR has not released anything but a domestic
- Flash ROM upgrade.
